The Toklat® T3 Matrix™ 31" x 30" Performance Shim Pad with Felt Lining & FlexForm Inserts is designed to keep your horse working comfortably under pressure. It is a lightweight and breathable design with abrasion-resistant, military-grade, nonslip ETC™ top fabric that lets it be used alone or under a woven blanket. The lining is made with compression-resistant synthetic felt which conforms to the horse’s back. Felt is ideal for horses that are round through the barrel or have low withers as it offers a more stable structure under the saddle. It is also perfect for any horse working in performance sports where stability is a must. Felt is made in the USA.

Full-length FlexForm Inserts are perfect for all-purpose training and conditioning. The 13mm lightweight, high-quality memory foam provides musculoskeletal cushioning, stabilizing support and moderate impact protection. Memory foam is an excellent option for helping with saddle fit, horses with tender backs or for anyone who wants to give a little more comfort to their horse. FlexForm cushions the horse while minimizing the shock felt by the rider, offering back relief and a more secure seat without inhibiting muscle movement. Inserts are removable through hook and loop spine.

Shim Pads can improve the fit of a Western saddle without sacrificing Impact Protection. Each pad comes with twelve 1/4" thick felt shims: two front, two middle and two rear on each side. Strategically place the shims to balance the saddle from front to back or adjust from side to side to compensate for asymmetrical muscle development. Easily converts from a built-up pad to a bridge pad.
